The Philomathean Society of the University of Pennsylvania is proud to present Gavin Schmidt, renowned climate scientist, as the 2020 Annual Orator.
Gavin A. Schmidt is a climatologist, climate modeler and Director of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) in New York, and co-founder of the award-winning climate science blog RealClimate.
As per Philo’s mission statement of increasing intellectual accessibility, the Annual Oration is free and public.
The Annual Oration will feature a lecture and following Q&A.
